Cuando el pueblo cruzara el r\u00edo Jord\u00e1n, deb\u00edan recoger piedras y escribir la ley de Dios. Adem\u00e1s, despu\u00e9s de firmar un pacto, se deb\u00edan leer las maldiciones y las bendiciones. Las tribus de Sime\u00f3n, Lev\u00ed, Jud\u00e1, Isacar, Jos\u00e9 y Benjam\u00edn, se ubicar\u00edan en el monte Gerisim para decir am\u00e9n a las bendiciones; y las tribus de Gad, Aser, Dan, Neftal\u00ed, Rub\u00e9n y Zabul\u00f3n, subir\u00edan al monte Ebal para declarar su conformidad a las maldiciones. Las doce maldiciones eran:<\/p>

1.Maldito el hombre que hiciere escultura o imagen de fundici\u00f3n, abominaci\u00f3n a Jehov\u00e1, obra de mano de art\u00edfice, y la pusiere en oculto;<\/p>

2.Maldito el que deshonrare a su padre o a su madre;<\/p>

3.Maldito el que redujere el l\u00edmite de su pr\u00f3jimo;<\/p>

4.Maldito el que hiciere errar al ciego en el camino;<\/p>

5.Maldito el que pervirtiere el derecho del extranjero, del hu\u00e9rfano y de la viuda;<\/p>

6.Maldito el que se acostare con la mujer de su padre, por cuanto descubri\u00f3 el regazo de su padre;<\/p>

7.Maldito el que se ayuntare con cualquier bestia;<\/p>

8.Maldito el que se acostare con su hermana, hija de su padre, o hija de su madre;<\/p>

9.Maldito el que se acostare con su suegra;<\/p>

10.Maldito el que hiriere a su pr\u00f3jimo ocultamente;<\/p>

11.Maldito el que recibiere soborno para quitar la vida al inocente;<\/p>

\u201cDe acuerdo con las indicaciones dadas a Mois\u00e9s, se construy\u00f3 un monumento de enormes piedras sobre el\u00a0Monte Ebal. Sobre estas piedras, revocadas previamente con argamasa, se escribi\u00f3 la ley, no solamente los diez preceptos pronunciados desde el Sina\u00ed y esculpidos en las tablas de piedra, sino tambi\u00e9n las leyes que fueron comunicadas a Mois\u00e9s y escritas por \u00e9l en un libro. A un lado de este monumento se construy\u00f3 un altar de piedra sin labrar… El hecho de que se haya constru\u00eddo el altar en Ebal, el monte sobre el cual recay\u00f3 la maldici\u00f3n, resulta muy significativo, pues daba a entender que por haber violado la ley de Dios, Israel hab\u00eda provocado su ira, y que esta lo alcanzar\u00eda de inmediato si no fuera por la expiaci\u00f3n de Cristo, representada por el altar del sacrificio\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
