No era importante a la vista de su familia y de Samuel. Sin embargo, David aprendi\u00f3 a depender de Dios, ocupa un lugar muy importante en la historia sagrada. Defendi\u00f3 el honor de Dios y se enfrent\u00f3 con Goliat. Esper\u00f3 los tiempos de Dios para ser coronado rey. Tuvo un arrepentimiento genuino despu\u00e9s de su pecado de adulterio, llegando a escribir el salmo 51. Dios dijo de \u00e9l: \u201cDavid, hijo de Isa\u00ed, hombre seg\u00fan mi coraz\u00f3n, quien har\u00e1 todo lo que yo quiera\u201d;<\/p><p><strong>2) Ac\u00e1n.-<\/strong> El cronista cambi\u00f3 el nombre de Ac\u00e1n, por el de Acar. Este cambio sugestivo de consonante tiene mucho parecido en su pronunciaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, Acar significa destrucci\u00f3n, turbar, llenar de confusi\u00f3n o acarrear desgracia. El pecado cometido por Ac\u00e1n produjo incertidumbre sobre las conquistas futuras del pueblo de Israel. Triste final para una persona que por ser de la tribu de Jud\u00e1, pudo haber alcanzado renombre en el pueblo de Dios;<\/p><p><strong>3) Caleb.-<\/strong> Caleb fue el representante de la tribu de Jud\u00e1 que junto a los otros representantes tribales fueron como esp\u00edas para reconocer la tierra prometida. Cuando David se apart\u00f3 de Dios y manch\u00f3 con sus cr\u00edmenes su car\u00e1cter virtuoso, dej\u00f3 de ser el hombre seg\u00fan el coraz\u00f3n de Dios.
